Charter Members on their First Ride
For God and Country, we associate ourselves together for the following purposes: to promote motorcycle safety and education programs and to provide a social atmosphere for American Legion members who share the same interest; to use our Association to promote and support programs of the American Legion; to participate in parades and others ceremonies that are in keeping with the aims and purposes of the American Legion.
Riders Greeting Soldiers Returning from Overseas at SLO Airport Meetings and Rides
Membership meetings are on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm at the Veteran's Memorial Building , located at 1000 Main Street in Cambria . Regularly scheduled rides take place on the third Saturday of the month at 11:00am; riders are to meet behind the Veteran's Memorial Building in Cambria . A pancake breakfast is offered by Post 432 on the third Saturday starting at 8:00am and riders are encouraged to meet earlier for a bite to eat.
Membership Requirements
There are two requirements for membership:
A. Must be a current member of the American Legion, Auxiliary, or Sons of the American Legion.
B. Must own and be legally licensed and insured to ride a street-legal motorcycle of at least 350 cc in size or be the spouse of an owner who is a regular Association member. Legally licensed shall be interpreted to mean holding a permanent license to drive the vehicle that qualifies him or her for membership, from his or her State of residence. Except for reasonable repair periods, the motorcycle must be in good repair and drivable.
